On May 19th, Season 5 American Idol winner (and Hoover native), Taylor Hicks, performed a fundraiser concert benefitting children in need of services at Alabama Game Changers. There was a focus on assistance for children of adoption and foster care who tend to have more complex learning challenges. Taylor put on a fantastic show featuring the best of his soulful music. The money raised has been applied directly to students in need. Now those kids have begun their life changing journey towards literacy!
