We are nonprofit medical center for academic resilience and success.

Alabama Game Changers (AGC) was co-founded in 2014 by Dr. Stephanie Denton, a mother of a child diagnosed with Dyslexia.  For years, Dr. Denton tried to help her son learn to read with little results.  She searched for medically based approaches to treat dyslexia and eventually found solutions that worked!  Now, Dr. Denton’s mission is to help parents avoid the years of struggle she and her family experienced.

At AGC, you will find a supportive team that works with families to uncover the roots causes of reading challenges and provide clear steps toward real, lasting progress.

  • "We knew my son was struggling in school, but we were not sure where to turn. He is gifted, but still had struggles that we couldn’t quite put our finger on. With the help of Alabama Game Changers, we have been able to identify exactly what he struggles with and now have a plan on how to help him. We have the support we need to know what to ask for and even how to talk to him to help him understand how to ask for what he needs. We are all so thankful for the help we have received!"
