Reading Intervention

Neurorehabilitative Reading Intervention

Our approach is unique, intensive, and designed to get to the root of reading struggles. After meeting with Dr. Denton and reviewing your child’s evaluations, we may recommend our specialized reading intervention. This program focuses on repairing weak neural pathways in the brain—laying a stronger foundation for reading. Many children with dyslexia need this type of rebuilding to become confident, successful readers. Our interventionists use discovery-based methods supported by brain science to strengthen reading skills and boost self-esteem in children who have struggled in school.

  • We do have a therapeutic reading program at AGC. Once a child has been seen in our medical clinic and had testing completed and reviewed, the next step is to connect about our reading therapy program.

  • Our therapeutic reading program is an intensive investment. We meet daily. The therapy itself differs from traditional interventions in that the methodology is a discovery based, not memorization based approach. Our approach is neurorehabilitative, using methods that allow neuroplasticity to occur.
